Little Cooks Classes
Charlaine is genuinely excited to bring this to life. Teaching children to cook combines her love of food, community, and learning, and turns Perch Café into a space that supports families as well as feeding them.
Charlaine Invites you to;
Children’s Cooking and Baking Classes
Charlaine has always believed that cooking is a life skill, not just a hobby. At Perch Café, she wants to pass that on to the next generation through small, friendly cooking and baking classes designed especially for children.
These after-school sessions will give youngsters the chance to get hands-on in the kitchen, learn simple techniques, and build confidence through food. From baking traybakes to preparing easy savoury dishes, the focus is on learning by doing, having fun, and taking pride in what they create.
Classes will be kept intentionally small, with around six children per session, allowing Charlaine to give plenty of individual attention and create a relaxed, safe environment. Using the Perch Café space after school hours means children learn in a real kitchen setting, while parents know they are in experienced, caring hands.
